INFORMATION ON HOSTING:

WHAT THE UNKNOWN TOUR PROVIDES:

  • This event at no cost to the host church.

  • We handle all ticket sales through our website.

  • We cover all travel & hotel expenses for our team.

  • We provide promotional graphics to share with your congregation.

  • Our event manager handles all details upon arrival and the ticketing at the door.

WHAT A HOST CHURCH PROVIDES:

  • An experienced volunteer sound person for sound + the slides (we provide the slides and send those 10 days before the event).

  • 10 Volunteers (each volunteer gets a free ticket). They are asked to arrive 60 minutes before VIP seating starts. Volunteers will help with ticket check in and merchandise sales.

  • The church building, custodial duties & 5 Tables for the lobby (6 foot tables if available)

  • Provide a light snack for our team of 4 -5 ladies.

  • Water for attendees at intermission (not required to provide a snack, but can if you’d like to)

  • We ask that you provide men from your congregation to provide security during the event. If you are a larger event (500 plus) and you’d like to hire your local police for the event, the tour will cover that cost.

ABOUT THE EVENT:

  • Host churches need to be able to seat 500 minimum (and located in a town that has a population of 20K minimum - seating & population is a factor due to the number of tickets we sell to cover the cost of producing the event (ads we run within a 50 mile radius/team we hire/flights/lodging)

  • Our event has several comedians and speakers in rotation with us, so when a host church books with us again the next year (or has us on rotation to come every other year), there will be new faces at your next booking. However, if you have some of the same team, the material will be new.

  • Ticket sales range from $16.50- $30. We offer early bird pricing, group tickets & VIP tickets.

  • We partner with Compassion International. Right before intermission, we take 5 minutes to share how ladies have the option to sponsor a child (right before intermission). We have a lot of experience in making this a short and seamless part of the event.

IMPORTANT INFO:

  • The host church does not pay The Unknown Tour if ticket sales are low, nor does the host church profit should ticket sales be high.

  • Our event needs to take place in a church sanctuary (brick & mortar / no warehouse buildings) with a sound system, screen, stage, lobby & the ability to dim the house lights. No metal folding chairs for seats.

  • This event is open to the local community of the host church. We love bringing in the local community to our host churches.

  • We don’t have outside vendors at our event, but the host church is welcome to have a vendor table and sell snacks, cokes etc (please remember to keep water free) or church merch.

  • We ask host churches to provide bottled water, for free, at intermission for our guests.
